2021 has been a year of looking inwards rather than outwards. It’s been a lot more low-profile as far as online/offline industry events or webinar collaborations go. However, there’ve been a lot of bright spots and achievements in terms of new customers, geographical markets, and functionality growth. Let’s journey back through the year 2021.
New features and improvements
These have taken up the majority of our time and efforts. We stopped measuring our feature-set against that of our competitors and started delivering what our users really cared about. This resulted in a whole bunch of new and improved functionality. Some of the major updates are:
● The iOS app has grown stronger as it’s been upgraded with barcode scanning capabilities, serial/lot/expiration date tracking, picking/packing, and other advanced features (see the full list here)
● We added a manufacturing module to the web side of HandiFox Online to automate and streamline production processes for those of our clients who had to do this by hand on paper.
● Inventory write-off, quick transaction generation, improved barcoding, negative transaction blocking and a few more features were the hottest updates of June and July 2021.
● Bin tracking was built into the iOS mobile app to streamline inventory intake, putaway, and order picking.
More features are coming in the 7.6.0 version of HandiFox Online, like introducing product images, barcode scanning on manufacturing orders, and creating new items in the iOS app to name a few. Stay tuned!
With all the new functionality and the customers who love it, it looks like we’re off to a good start in 2022.

We’ve seen a 40% user base growth in 2021 compared to 2020. The global community of HandiFox users was extended by a few new companies in Switzerland, Ireland, and Ecuador. Welcome on board!
