We are excited to announce the rollout of a new subscription plan – Optima. The new package is available to everyone as of today (June, 29 2020). Why Optima was added to the original Start-Pro set of subscription plans and what this new plan offers is covered in this blog post.

Why change anything?

Generally, the overwhelming majority of software users demonstrate a rather fragmentary use of the systems they purchase - it is a fact known to every software vendor, so they strive to make their software more modular and scalable. Over the years, we’ve been lucky to learn from and were repeatedly amazed by the ways small businesses go about some business processes or their special ways of using our system. Given lots of our clients have some unique workflows or simply don’t need this or that functionality, their choice of subscription plans until now was pretty limited. At HandiFox, we set out to give our current and prospective customers more tailored choices through the introduction of Optima.

What is Optima?

As seen from the picture below, cost-wise Optima is a happy medium between Start and Pro. Its feature set also represents a balance between the inventory- and sales-related functionality of HandiFox Online.


Optima feature package includes:

  • Multi-location tracking and transfers
  • Inventory tracking and management of inventory, non-inventory and service items
  • Reading, recording, generating, printing barcodes
  • Inventory counting
  • Purchase order management 
  • Automated replenishment
  • Receiving against one or multiple POs at a time
  • Customer management
  • Invoicing
  • Recording payment receipt
  • Inventory and purchasing reports
  • QuickBooks Online integration (optional)

Which package is right for me?

This is to give you a better understanding of what each of the plans is about:

Start is for someone who wants to automate purchasing and have centralized control over the inventory that they don’t sell (equipment, office supplies, etc.).

Optima is well-suited for someone with multiple storage locations, the need to order, move and deduct stock from the available quantity automatically. They will also be able to sell inventory to customers and document sales through invoices. 

Pro is an all-in-one, including everything in Optima plus sales order fulfillment features and serial/lot number tracking.

Although, the experience of our customers shows taking a trial is the best way to find out.
